You will ask me what do I mean by sexy because sexy, charming, attractive etc all are relative terms and in every region of the world these words have different meanings and different impacts upon viewers. In India showing naked tummy on tv may not be bad but the same thing in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country may not be tolerated by the viewers of a tv channel. Similarly cleavage showing on a Russian tv channel may be a good thing but may not be at all acceptable in Pakistan. So women wearing costumes on tv channels are well aware of their limitations which are due to the religion, customs or local traditions.
The costumes worn on tv are the trend setters for the fashion industry. Ladies watch other women on tv and then go for the same fashion. Same is true with men and kids. The fashion divas spend lots of money and time on their costumes before appearing in tv shows and programs because they know that their fans worldwide shall be looking at them and watching their trends which subsequently shall be followed by them in real life.

But one thing is common with the modern women. They come on tv or appear in magazines, their life styles have become highly trendy and their costumes have become very revealing and sexy. As I said earlier it is a relative term but in today’s world and in every culture, the costumes worn on tv by todays women are sexy by any standards.

One of the most fun filled things is the introduction of fancy dress parties. In these parties, a person can wear any sort of dress to express him or herself in a way that is not possible in the normal life. Like I always love the 70s fancy dresses but it is not possible for me to wear a wig, fancy jacket and bell bottom trouser while going to the office. This is the reason that the costume industry has become so big and doing great business. You must have seen that every other day there is a new fancy dress in the market; however, you must notice that the basic theme of the fancy dress is the same. In 70s, fashion reached its zenith and hundreds of new ideas for the fancy dresses were introduced. Those were marvellous dresses and people still love to wear those dresses in today’s fancy dress parties.
